Our Year 8 cohort had the opportunity to hear from guest speaker Aurora Iler, an inspiring young Australian filmmaker who is already creating meaningful impact through her work.
Aurora encouraged students to take initiative, pursue their passions with confidence and recognise that age is never a barrier to becoming a changemaker. Her message highlighted the power of creativity, curiosity and personal drive in shaping positive change.
Her presentation also served as an engaging introduction to the upcoming Year 8 Bay Ex programme, a two‑day immersive learning experience in Term 3 designed to strengthen students’ curiosity, inspire creativity and develop essential problem‑solving skills.
