For students in Years 5, 6, 7 and 8 who are avid readers and have an extensive knowledge of children’s literature. The College puts forward two teams of four for both Primary and Secondary to compete in the Regional competitions, with National Finals usually held in NSW.

Secondary students apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to hypothetical future situations. The program looks at current technological, geopolitical, and societal trends and projects those trends 20–30 years into the future in order to train students to develop solutions to the challenges they may face as adults.

Available to Year 11 and 12 Legal students, mooting is to enhance students’ insight into the manner in which law is conducted in the Court System. It is distinguished from debating in that mooting requires research, advocacy and teamwork in representing the team’s client in legal debate.

Secondary students build and program robots. Senior Secondary students mentor Junior Secondary students to develop robots to dance to music or navigate around objects to perform rescues, while Seniors focus on developing robots to play soccer and compete in the First Tech Challenge.
