The facilities at Moreton Bay College are available for hire to the local community. Our excellent facilities have easy parking and are wheelchair accessible.
Centenary Chapel
The Moreton Bay College Centenary Chapel is available for public hire for the conduct of for Weddings, Baptisms, Dedication Services or Worship Services by those who have a connection with Moreton Bay College, past and present.
The charm of this 19th Century Chapel with a seating capacity of 80 is most suited for small intimate services such as Weddings and Baptisms, where the quiet and serene atmosphere within the College grounds will further compliment that special occasion. Wheelchair access and amenities are available.
The John Mason Swimming Pool
The Moreton Bay College Swimming Pool Complex is perfect for training, time trials sessions, sporting teams recovery sessions, clubs and school competitions, water polo, and more. Open all year round with a heated pool and no parking concerns. Shower and change facilities are available. Canteen facilities available. Wheelchair Access and amenities available.
Mamie Mcquillan Auditorium
The 165 tiered seat facility is fitted with theatre curtains, audio/visual equipment, stage lighting and a specialised dance floor to suits a variety of theatrical and presentation events. It is fully air conditioned. A foyer area is available with facilities for displays, receptions etc. Change room facilities available and ‘breakout’ meeting rooms are also available.
Music Centre and Power Family Concert Hall
The state-of-the-art Music Centre is available for bookings by organisations and the general public. As a purpose-built 560 seat complex, the centre is designed to accommodate orchestral and choral presentations, with rehearsal and performance space unavailable elsewhere in Brisbane.
The Centre is also ideal for conferences, presentations and meetings, as it offers a range of facilities and flexible spaces, including soundproof rehearsal spaces and rooms for breakout sessions.
Outdoor courts
Moreton Bay College has eight outdoor courts marked for Netball and Basketball, and 4 quality tennis courts. Toilets, shower and change facilities are close by. Parking is available in close proximity.
Sporting ovals
Our two large ovals/fields are marked out for athletics Track and Field events, Cricket, Hockey, Soccer and other sporting activities, ideal for major competitions. The ovals are available for use Monday – Friday, Saturdays and Sundays. The school holidays offer a wider choice of time slots. Toilets, shower and change facilities are close by. Parking is available in close proximity.
Waller Sports Centre
The Waller Sports Centre is a large stadium to suit a variety of Sporting Pursuits inc Basketball, Netball Volleyball etc. there are amenities for Home and Away teams and tiered seating for 250 people. A foyer area is available with facilities for displays, receptions etc. The Centre is fitted with a sound system for music and public address announcements. Wheelchair access and amenities.
