Our formal entry years are Kindergarten, Year 5 and Year 7. However, we do accept enrolments for all year levels depending on availability of places.
Kindergarten
The Kindergarten Programme is a full-time, co-educational, Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Programme based at Moreton Bay College. It offers the magic of early learning through purposeful inquiry and a caring and supportive community for families. Kindergarten is a stepping stone to Prep at either Moreton Bay Boys’ College or Moreton Bay College. Whilst the Moreton Bay Colleges will continue to be leaders in single-sex education from Prep to Year 12; a mixed-gender model for Kindergarten is best practice for children aged 3 to 4.

Year 5
Entering MBC in Year 5 allows your daughter to settle into a new environment before she moves into Secondary. She will benefit from the inquiry-based learning framework of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). This programme teaches the girls to understand themselves as learners and how to challenge themselves to take action to maximize learning opportunities.

Year 7
Starting at Moreton Bay College in Year 7 is common for many of our students. We create an environment for our Year 7 girls that is relevant, challenging, enjoyable and engaging. The curriculum provides students with the opportunity to experience many subjects and develop their strengths before entering specialised courses in their senior phase of learning. We are committed to developing a love of learning that promotes a student’s sense of belonging, self-esteem and resilience.
