No. An application allows your daughter to be considered, but places depend on availability and the College’s enrolment process.
Approximately 18 months before your daughter’s nominated year of entry, you will be invited to an interview.
The interview is part of our enrolment process and is a way for the Principal, or Head of Secondary/Head of Primary to build a relationship with your daughter, get to know your family, as well as a chance for you to ask us any questions or discuss any concerns.
We ask parents to provide copies of the two most recent school reports and NAPLAN results where applicable prior to the interview.
Yes, subject to availability. If your preferred year level is full, we can place your daughter on a waiting list and notify you if a place becomes available.

Starting earlier gives your daughter time to build confidence, friendships and a strong sense of belonging before the transition to Secondary. From Kindergarten onwards, girls enjoy a wealth of learning and co-curricular opportunities, with Primary students benefiting from the inquiry-based IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), which nurtures curiosity, independence and strong learning habits. For many families, this earlier start makes the move into Year 7 feel smooth and familiar.
Our Secondary staff and students who have come through Primary at MBC will say the biggest advantage is that girls entering Year 7 know themselves as a learner, know about the learning process and have developed skills such as reflection, collaboration, self-management, research, thinking, social and communication skills, setting them up for success in secondary.
Complete the online application and pay the non-refundable $350 application fee at the time of application.
The Advance Fee is payable by the end of Term 1, prior to commencement for new students commencing at Moreton Bay College in Years 5 and 7 in 2027.
Please note, this is not an extra cost. Rather the advance fee will secure your child’s enrolment in 2027 and will be deducted from your Term 1’s fees.
