We look forward to welcoming your daughter to Moreton Bay College. Follow the five steps required to enrol your daughter at our College. Please contact us if you have any questions.
In your application, the following supporting documents are required:
These documents are required in English (or certified translations in English), with the costs to be met by the applicant. The College requires evidence that the applicant’s academic ability and English proficiency is sufficient to successfully meet the entry and curriculum demands of the intended course. This is a requirement under the 2018 National Code of Practice, Part B Standard 2. Please refer to the International Student Handbook for more information.
Upon receipt of a completed application form, an enrolment interview will be arranged for the student with the Principal or a member of our Senior Leadership Team. This can be done in person or via an online video conference programme.
The interview is an opportunity for us to learn more about the student, their academic and co-curricular interests, English language proficiency and discuss the College’s expectations. It is also an appropriate time for the parents and the student to ask any questions they may have about the College’s programmes. Following the interview, the College will notify the student and family of the outcome.
A successful application and interview will result in you receiving an Offer from the College. You will be advised if this is for direct entry or via a High School Preparation Programme. The College will issue a Provisional Letter of Offer and Written Agreement outlining the type of offer and fees payable (including Overseas Student Health Cover, Accommodation, Tuition and Non-Tuition fees), entry requirements and course details.
Read the terms and conditions, sign and return your Written Agreement and pay your invoice. Payment can be made via the link in your invoice. A place is not confirmed until the signed Provisional Letter of Offer, signed Written Agreement and payment of fees is received. Parent(s)/Legal Guardian(s) may choose to pay more than 50% of total fees in which case a separate invoice will be issued. The return of signed documents and fee payments is the responsibility of the student’s parents/legal guardians. Please note if using an Educational Agent, they are not permitted to complete documents on parents’ behalf.
On receipt of payment and return of signed Enrolment Acceptance and Written Agreement, the school will issue a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) and Confirmation of Accommodation and Welfare (CAAW) via PRISMS for the period the student is to be enrolled at Moreton Bay College.
With your COE & CAAW, you can apply for your visa. For more information visit homeaffairs.gov.au.
If required, homestay arrangements can be made with the College. Moreton Bay Boys’ College has its own Homestay Programme (link to homestay programme information), working with the family to select an appropriate family for the student.
Make arrangements to ensure the student arrives prior to orientation. Be sure to provide your flight details to the College at least two weeks prior to arrival so that airport transfers can be arranged if required.
