College protocols
- If displaying symptoms, the College encourages all of our College community to follow the Qld Health guidelines – available here
- If a child presents at school with a fever or other symptoms of COVID-19, parents will be advised and requested to collect their child immediately.
- Close contact rules effective from 6.00pm Thursday 28 April: The Queensland Government has announced the end of COVID-19 isolation requirements for household contacts. From 6:00pm Thursday 28 April, the changes mean an asymptomatic close contact who tests negative will be able to go about their daily lives. Students who fall into this category will now be able to attend College if they are a close contact.
- Students in Years 7 to 12 in this category (close contact) will be required to wear face masks when in class for seven days (and outdoors in places where they cannot physically distance). Students in the close contact category must also take a rapid antigen test every two days to monitor for COVID-19.
- Please refer to our 'Can I come into the Colleges' checklist if you are required to visit the College. Please do not come to the Colleges if you are unwell with any symptoms.
