Recently the Moreton Bay College’s Dance Troupes competed at the annual Gold Coast Eisteddfod performing against high level Primary and Secondary schools from around South East Queensland and New South Wales. The teams came away with outstanding results, reflecting their hard work and determination. The Primary Dance Troupe came away with a 2^nd place and two Highly Commendeds in sections which saw a variety of styles and genres up against each other. 

The Junior Secondary team earned themselves a 1^st and 2^nd place respectively in the Lyrical and Contemporary section, indicating their high level skill in these styles, while also coming away with a Very High Commended for their new Jazz routine. 

The Seniors took out 1^st, 3^rd and Highly Commended in the very competitive Senior Secondary Lyrical and Contemporary section, echoing that of the Juniors, whilst also taking out 2^nd place in the Jazz section. Overall, it has been another successful year for all the MBC Dance Troupe teams.
