How do I enrol?
Our formal intake years are Kindergarten, Year 5 and Year 7. However, we do accept enrolments for all year levels depending on availability of places. If a year level is full, our team can place your daughter’s name on a waiting list and will notify you if a place becomes available. We encourage you to enrol your daughter early to avoid disappointment. A non-refundable application fee of $350 is to be paid at the time of application. You can apply online.
How early should I enrol?
As early as possible! Place in our formal intake years are in high demand and we usually have more applicants than we have places available. When it is time for the offers to be sent, we offer in order of priority, taking into account current families / siblings, daughters of Old Girls and then date of application becomes very relevant. The earlier you apply, the better your chances of receiving an offer.
Does an application guarantee a place at MBC?
The enrolment application does not guarantee a position, it is merely an application. You will be contacted approximately 2 – 3 years prior to nominated entry year (1 year for Kindergarten) to participate in a formal enrolment interview.
How do enrolment interviews work?
The interview will give us the opportunity to build a relationship with your family, discuss your daughter’s progress and answer any questions you may have about Moreton Bay College. We like to use this opportunity to find out more about your daughter – her interests, sports, clubs, etc and assess her ability and character. We ask that parents provide copies of their daughter’s two most recent school reports and Naplan results (where applicable) prior to the enrolment interview.
Does an interview guarantee a letter of offer?
No. The interview is one step in the enrolment process and gives us the chance to meet your family and learn more about your daughter.
I’ve accepted my letter of offer, what now?
At Moreton Bay College your daughter’s smooth transition into the College is a priority for us. Our Orientation events are an important tool in this process. Before your daughter joins MBC, she will be invited to attend orientation events designed to help her become familiar with College life and begin forming connections.
When your daughter commences at MBC we welcome your whole family as part of our community. There will also be opportunities for parents to attend information sessions and become further engaged with College life.

At Moreton Bay College, sport is a cornerstone of school life, combining a strong tradition of success with opportunities for every girl to grow.
Across 23 sports, girls compete through QGSSSA, Andrews Cup and a range of club pathways, achieving outstanding results at school, state and national level. In 2025, more than 80 students were selected to represent Queensland and 18 were chosen in Australian teams or squads.
Supported by highly experienced coaches, including current and former national and Queensland representatives, girls build confidence, resilience and teamwork while striving for their personal and team goals.
Our dedicated buses provide comfortable and safe transport to and from the Colleges.
We offer a dedicated bus service exclusively for MBC and MBBC students, providing a safe and convenient travel option to and from the college.

Moreton Bay College’s before and after school and vacation care service is available for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
