Reverend Doctor Peter Lockhart | Secondary Chaplain

Revered Peter was educated as a High School teacher at the University of Queensland and taught in the field of Humanities prior responding to a call to ministry and returning to study at Trinity Theological College.
Ordained in 1998, Peter has spent most of his time in congregational ministry around Brisbane. Through this time Peter has completed his Masters of Theological Studies and lectured in Reformation Church History at Trinity College and ACU. Peter has also been involved in a range of significant leadership roles in the church.
Prior to taking on the role at MBC Peter was also engaged in part time University Chaplaincy. Peter commenced at MBC in July of 2017 and has a passion for bringing together faith and reason as a way of articulating an intelligible faith in the 21st century.
