More than participation

A well-rounded education is shaped by more than academic learning alone.

At MBC, co-curricular opportunities help girls grow physically, creatively, socially and emotionally. Through participation, students develop resilience, commitment and teamwork. They learn to challenge themselves, support others and take pride in progress.

Some girls discover their passion on the stage. Others find it on the sporting field, through music, on camp or in a club. Whatever path they take, they are encouraged to participate with curiosity, courage and purpose.

Opportunities across every stage

Our co-curricular programme is designed to give every girl a place to begin and room to grow. Students can pursue opportunities across:

Sport

Where challenge builds confidence.

Building teamwork, resilience and confidence through broad participation and high-performance pathways, including Andrews Cup, QGSSSA and the Athlete Development Programme.

Music

Where talent finds its voice.

Developing creativity, discipline and joyful performance through class music, tuition, ensembles and regular performance opportunities, with 23 performing ensembles across both campuses.

The Performing Arts

Where creativity finds expression.

Whether performing before an audience, learning a new style of dance or helping bring a production to life behind the scenes, girls are encouraged to participate fully and discover where their talents can take them.

Camps

Where growth happens beyond the classroom.

Carefully sequenced experiences that strengthen relationships, resilience, independence and leadership from Primary through to Year 11.

Clubs and Experiences

Where creativity, connection and curiosity come alive.

A wide range of clubs and special interest opportunities allows girls to pursue their passions, try something new and connect with others who share their curiosity.

A place for every girl

At MBC, co-curricular involvement is not an extra. It is part of how girls grow in confidence, character and connection.

Here, interests are explored, strengths are developed and passions begin to take shape.
