Moreton Bay College is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs Rebecca Lennon as Principal, marking an exciting new chapter in the College’s proud history.
A respected and dedicated leader within the College community, Mrs Lennon brings a deep understanding of Moreton Bay College’s values, traditions and aspirations. Her appointment reflects a shared commitment to building on the College’s strong foundations while continuing to provide an exceptional education that prepares young women to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Following the announcement, Mrs Lennon expressed her sincere gratitude for the overwhelming support she has received from students, staff, families, Old Girls and friends of the College.
“I have been deeply moved by the many messages, conversations and gestures of goodwill from our College community. Thank you for your encouragement, kindness and support.”
Mrs Lennon said she feels both privileged and humbled to lead Moreton Bay College into its next chapter.
“This is a community with a remarkable past and an exciting future. I am committed to ensuring we remain future focused while honouring the traditions, values and stories that have shaped us. As we move forward, our focus will remain clear: to pursue continuous improvement, make thoughtful and courageous decisions, and above all, stay deeply student focused in all that we do.”
As Principal, Mrs Lennon looks forward to working alongside students, staff, families and the wider College community to continue strengthening the outstanding learning environment and vibrant culture that define Moreton Bay College.
